Getting started
What is Latin Music Mastery?+
An online school for Latin music. You learn an instrument from musicians who play it professionally, with HD video lessons, notation synced to every video, and PlaySense feedback while you practice.
Do I need any prior musical experience?+
No. Every instrument starts with a fundamentals course that assumes you are new to it. Experienced players can move straight to the style courses.
Which instruments are covered?+
Courses are live for Timbal, Conga, Minor Percussion, Drums, Piano, Bass, Tres, Guitar and Violin. More instruments are on the way.
How do the lessons work?+
Each lesson has a video from your maestro with the notation synced underneath. You can slow it down, loop a passage, and play along while PlaySense listens.
Subscription & billing
How much does it cost?+
Each instrument is $19.99/mo, or $199.99/yr. That includes the instrument's fundamentals course plus one style course. Extra style courses are $9.99/mo each.
What does founding-member pricing mean?+
People who join the waitlist before launch keep today's prices when they subscribe.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is my payment information secure?+
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers.
PlaySense
What does PlaySense need?+
A microphone on your computer, phone or tablet, or a PlaySense device. Headphones help so the backing track doesn't bleed into the mic.
Can I download the sheet music?+
Yes. Any section can be exported as PDF, MusicXML or MIDI.
Does it work for percussion?+
Yes. For percussion, PlaySense focuses on timing, so you see which strokes were early, late or missed.
